As with any bleeding edge technology, the largest challenge was solving problems that had never been solved. How do you enable row-level permissions so that the chat agent only shares with the right people? How do you guide the user through connecting their data and getting it ready for AI? How do you chain together data transformations so that users can see what's changing at each stage?

Sadly, when we had the product ready for a closed beta, Open AI announced a new feature for ChatGPT which was largely what we had built. And that was the day that Mantium died.
